Karan Is Very Stressed: Farah Khan Chimes In On ADHM Crisis
Karan Johar is a troubled man these days with the release of his ambitious romance Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan, looking at a disputed release.

After the The Cinema Owners Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) announced that it will not release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on its screens, Karan had finally opened up about his side of the story.

Karan put out an appeal two days ago, clarifying that his decision to cast Fawad should not be seen as an anti-national act. But even that did not help in quelling the rising public sentiment against the casting of Pakistani actors in Bollywood, with the two countries caught in a border dispute.

Karan has since pulled out of public appearances including a planned stint on The Kapil Sharma Show. And now his close friend and fellow filmmaker Farah Khan has revealed that Karan is indeed under a lot of strain.

"I was shooting with him before he did that (the video). I know how stressed he is. He is a dear friend and he said it all in that video. Nobody will believe that Karan would ever do something which is not patriotic, we all know that. Now that he has put forward his side, the matter should be put to rest,"  said Farah, who was quizzed about it during an event in Mumbai.

When asked about her own opinion on the current conditions which may curb the creative freedom of filmmakers, Farah said, "There are a lot of things which bother us but let us not get into that because whenever we open our mouths, we get into trouble."
